So i took the Fullbody pic i drew on Evaedeni's Ref sheets and Worked it out so it would look like its sisterpiece. Also, i tried to achive a similar look on the background like in this piece from years ago: [link]
Luckily, it turned out WAY better. I always wanted to draw backgrounds like in this piece but was never able to. Now i finally succeeded!
Now to some explainations to this piece:
Evaedeni is parapledgic but recieved a bond with the Shenta ta Wyvuro (guardian of wind) before she herself became a Shenta ta (shenta ta's can't forge bonds amongst each other exept if it was forged before they became guardians), so she can freely move around without being bound to a chair or anything like that. Since she needs most of her Magic for other stuff, she got 2 enchanted Spheres on her hips ( a big one and a middle sized one ), which are the source of the wind that makes her hover. In order to give the Orbs the correct direction to where they should channel the wind force, theres one small Sphere on each of her shoe.
Because Evaedeni used to roam the lands of Zša alone before she got her personal Bodyguard, she felt the need to have music to enlighten her, so she got herself 3 Violins, 2 of which also have a little sphere worked into the Scroll, so the wind plays the violins for her. The two that have a sphere are Black and White (I've seen black and white violins on ebay, they really do exist! honestly!) which she calls Evo and Ivo , which also have symbolic meaning to her (look at her hair lol), the third she owns is the usual wood color. The normal violin she likes to play herself, just to pastime and pass boredom.
Brushes for the swirls by ~kathleenaisha. I originally planned to just use them as reference for the strokelines but i was too lazy to finish up and i think they do their job this way pretty well too I think its the first time i ever used formbrushes that you can actually still make out in the final piece since 2005 or something lulz.
Also, PNG and halftransparency is pretty much screwed on the new DA version. So i felt the necessity of adding a background color (for the swirlyness, too). Did the same with "On our Journey".
If i get the muse, i might actually make a series with this style XD.

The background also caught my attention, so beautiful. I also enjoy the fact that the background does not occupy the entire piece, it really makes the girl stand out which, I assume, is the main focus of this piece.
The girl's clothes are very well-done, specially the shadows and the little details (such as the belt). The swirls all around her create a beautiful effect which, I think, really complements this piece and makes it even more beautiful.
To conclude, you did a wonderful job with this piece. Keep up the great work.
I love that you have created a whole religion, world and style (I have taken a look at your website). It makes your characters have a "signature" style that I would easily recongnise anywhere.
Your clothes always have so many details and look so interesting but they are also beautiful drawn. Anatomy is amazing. I will point out the hands too but I saw you already know why they look like that, what you could have fixed or what you can do in the future. As for the background, there are no words to describe how amazing it is. I've always admired your skills. You are able to draw well both characters and backgrounds!
It's alright if you used brushes, I think sometimes it's better to use them instead of draw things ourselves because they look better. Of course as long as we don't over use brushes for everything ha ha.
I think two violins is too much but I assume you wanted to point out her love for music
I'm glad you always add description to your artowrks telling a few things about the character and the story. Apart from the art itself I'm always eager to hear more about ED-Azurite in general. I also had questions about Evaedeni and her relationship with Andany. Apart from the fact that they are the same species I'm sure there must be something, right? I guess I'll have to read the comic to find out! I hope you can work on it soon because I really really want to read it!
Great work, I dunno what to say
You have amazing coloring skills!
Props to you
Well done, I like the effects.
