I have to admit though that usually i dont like OCs of any type... but somehow i actually do love many of the Journey inspired ones >w>"
And i tried some really weird technique on this that contained the usage of layermasks on textures entirely, without drawing directly on the layers at all :0... Welp, i'm an experimental person~

I thought it was a pair of really cool fish from the thumbnail. Now that I see the full size, I am not dissapoint; it's even cooler larger!

Absolutely great use of color! Gosh, warm colors are totally the best. <3 I really love how you made it look like a traditional painting as well. Did you use a bunch of texture overlays to do that?

I'm honored!
I actually worked in a really weird way on this one, i made myself a Texture with some brushes first that covered the entire canvas, then blocked it all out with a layermask, and then i kinda drew this in on the layermask- kinda like you would work on those scratch arts where you carve out a layer of black masking, if you're familiar with that? (Kinda like these) What was revealed underneath was the texture i had made. In the end, i overlayed it with color adjustment layers to color them in. Its a really weird way of doing arts, to be honest, and since i only tried this, i can now see where i couldve changed the workflow to make working more convenient XD

I really like the way it turned out! It makes it look like an acrylic on canvas. Their designs are really awesome too. I love their stripped leggings.
