Born as a half-blood among a race which closely regards racial purity, especially by those of elevated social ranks, the orphaned Duhliya was not only raised by Tzenarra, a venerable member of the council, but was also sent to one of the highest renowned academys the tar’sujan race: The Academy of Al’Sura. There, however, learning of herbalism, alchemy and the usage of fire-magic appear merely as minor problems to her, as she strives learning to deal with her intolerant classmates, as well as to live with an inherited defect called Oblivion, a disease causing her to lose many of her memories almost quicker than she can form them. When Keehva, a former friend of her deceased mother and friend of Tzenarra, makes his appearance in the academy, she slowly starts regaining lost memories and starts to discover the reasons why a half-blood like her was allowed to stay under the care of the council of Al'Sura.
